About My Studio

Pilates with Julie is a charming Pilates studio located in Southern California. I offer Private Reformer Sessions, Prenatal and Postpartum classes, as well as Circuit classes. Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise designed to build lean muscle mass, increase flexibility and balance, strengthen your core, and connect your mind to your body.

 

By focusing on breath and tuning in to the movements of your body, your mind-body connection is strengthened and your movements become more efficient and coordinated. This helps you move safely and freely in your day-to-day life. Pilates helps prevent injury by strengthening the smaller muscles surrounding joints and focusing on alignment. However, it is quite modifiable if you are working with a current injury.

 

Pilates is also a wonderful compliment to any other form of exercise or sport you practice. I am a big believer in cross training, and Pilates helps to keep you moving safely in all that you do.
